It is funny you mention polyglots. Prof. Keinzler that I quote is actually recommending learning multiple languages as a antidote to our hard wired linguistic discrimination. My kids are multilingual, both born in Spain but still kept some French accent from their dad. When people ask them where are they from, they are surprised and always respond that they are Spanish, even though they have no Spanish passport. I will have to try to make Keinzler’s experiment with my boys to confirm, but who knows maybe this is exactly the way to go to promote inclusive viewpoints. Best regards from sunny Valencia!
